A Vision and Purpose
Sometimes the unexpected occurs. For instance you may be going through a break up, you may be wondering if that dream will ever come to fruition, you may be yearning for companionship, you may have lost a loved one, you may be worried about finances; whatever the situation maybe sometimes it makes us evaluate our purpose and question our abilities.
Recently I texted a friend of mine out of the blue because I hadn’t talked to her in a while and I just wanted to see how she was doing. She replied, well to be perfectly honest I’m not doing so well. I’m really depressed; I’ve been in my home pretty much all weekend. Money, non-existing relationships, and I just don’t feel like God is ever listening.
Have you ever felt like God isn’t ever listening to you? Well the same prayer that I sent to my friend I will share with you.
Father God I come to you today to just say thank you. Thank you for the person reading this message. In the name of Jesus release every strong hold and break every chain that hold us confined to worldly things. Lord I speak a financial break through. I speak relationships/friendships filled with love and compassion. Lord I speak vision and a new creative mind frame. Right now Lord come into our homes and turn things around. Lord I ask that when we feel the need to give up SWOOP!; you have went right in and healed those feelings of depression, fear and anxiety. Lord please allow us to not dwell on the negative things in our lives but Lord that we are able to focus on the positive things. Lord you know the plans that you have for us, plans to give us hope and a future. Lord allow us to stand on your word. I speak a financial break through, expectations, and blessings in this person’s life. In your name we pray AMEN!
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Write the vision; make it plain on tablets so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end it will not lie. If it seems slow wait for it; it will surely come it will not delay.
